NEWS: Universal Orlando Will Begin Implementing Temperature Screenings for Employees

Universal Orlando announced today that beginning on Friday, they will implement mandatory temperature screenings for all employees before coming onto property. Any employee with a temperature of above 99.9 degrees will be sent home.

Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings announced that he will unveil a plan on Friday that will outline the county's plans moving forward when it comes to entering Phase One of Governor DeSantis' plan for re-opening the state of Florida. Much of Disney World is located in Orange County, and the Mayor's plans may provide potential insight into how the resort could begin the slow process of re-opening.
