Baby Hippo Born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a Boy!
Posted onThe baby Nile hippopotamus born at Disney's Animal Kingdom on January 13 has been revealed to be a male. (His gender was unknown when the birth was originally announced last month.) Augustus, who weighed in at 168 pounds, is the first hippo born at the park in 13 years. He can be seen on the Kilimanjaro Safari savanna, staying close to his mother, Tuma.
