New this year at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is the Festival Tasting Sampler package, which includes:
-- 8 entitlements for food or beverage of your choice (with a few exceptions) at the Food and Wine Festival International Marketplaces.
-- priority seating at the 6:45 p.m. Eat to the Beat concert at America Gardens Theatre on the day for which the package is purchased.
-- a limited release 20th Anniversary Food and Wine pin that comes in three colors.
These packages cost $59 per person (total $62.85 including tax) and DO NOT include admission to Epcot.
Florida Memories Inspire New Southern Cuisine In Disney Springs Restaurant with Celebrity Chef Art Smith
Posted onCelebrity Chef Art Smith is bringing a taste of real Florida to a new restaurant opening in summer 2016 at Disney Springs. Homecoming: Florida Kitchen and Southern Shine will showcase the cuisine of Chef Smith, who was born and reared in the town of Jasper, Fla., on the Florida-Georgia border.
Downtown Disney Transforms Into Disney Springs!
Posted onDowntown Disney has been in transformation for over two years, with a slew of new restaurants and shops opening over the past months. Signage has also been added through the past year with the moniker Disney Springs, but that name is now official as of yesterday, September 29th, 2015.
This past week has seen the opening of two new venues. Last week, the already extremely popular Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar opened to rave reviews. We were the first in the door when it opened to the public, and we had the opportunity to go back during a media event that included a visit to not only Jock Lindsey's, but also the new Morimoto Asia. In between the two restaurants, we attended a brief ceremony to cap off the Disney Springs name change.
20th Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Announces Future World Marketplace Expansion
Posted onWalt Disney World Resort announced today that four new food and beverage marketplaces will open in Future World during the 20th Epcot International Food and Wine Festival presented by Chase Sept. 25-Nov. 16, 2015. It's the first time in the festival's 20-year-history that global marketplace experiences, now numbering more than 30, have expanded from the park's World Showcase into Future World.
