Disneyland Resort Goes to $15 Minimum Wage, Three Years before California Mandate

Disneyland Resort announced Sunday that thousands more of its cast members will receive a $15 minimum wage, one of the highest minimum wages in the country. Disneyland is making this change three years before the state of California’s scheduled increase in wage rates. The Disneyland Resort also is paying increased minimum rates to thousands of hourly non-union cast members.

Backstage Magic Tour

Years, and I do mean years ago, I took the Backstage Magic Tour of Walt Disney World. We got to do some really cool things and I always remembered how much fun it was. The tour took us to Epcot, Magic Kingdom (no Animal Kingdom then), the Disney MGM Studios and behind the scenes at several Cast Member locations.
