Flatbreads were fine. The best part of the meatball sub was the inside of the bread. The Diet Coke was flat. I was disappointed after having really good breadsticks here on our last trip.

Just back from 2 weeks at BCV. Our 4th visit to our home resort. This is in many respects a great resort. Pool complex is good in comparison to other resorts on property, although the claim that it is a mini water park is probably only true for younger kids (ours now early teens).
What really lets it down is the rooms which are very tired. However, the good news is that a refurb programme is underway, although no villas have been redone as yet.
Also there seems to be a European approach now to sun lounger use. People are being allowed to leave towels on beds all day to reserve them. It used to be the case that after a period of inactivity staff would remove the towels and new arriving guests to the pool could find a bed.
Staff as ever excellent for the most part

My wife and I had a meal sans kids at Shula's and it was terrific.
Both had steaks which were cooked exactly as requested.
Great bottle of claret complemented the meals
Have eaten here previously with mixed results, but on this occasion we were very prescriptive about how we wanted certain aspects of the meal, specifically the sides to be cooked. For example I wanted my mushrooms sautéed without lashings of garlic. Server recorded precisely what we wanted without fuss and the kitchen delivered.
Excellent

Amazed to be told when pitching up that due to refurb work the kitchen was not cooking burgers or fries for 6 weeks.
We ate somewhere else.
For such a staple part of the menu at bar like ESPN would have thought a better plan could have been devised

This was just awful!
Got a walk up table which should probably have been a clue.
My wife had a salad and a peperoni pizza. She said the pizza was worse than a frozen supermarket version. I tried a bite and could only agree. It was also very small.
The three others all had the penne Bolognese, figured they could not get this to far wrong in an Italian themed restaurant. Wrong....I have never seen and orangey yellow Bolognese sauce before, which tasted how looked.
This place sums up Disney dining which is with very few exceptions, overpriced and very poor quality. It has got worse since the launch of the ubiquitous Dining plan. This has led to the quality being reduced presumably to improve profit margins.

Have been here before and always had a good meal. Note the last post and certainly agree the room is small and this does tend to them always running late. The recent refurb of this area would have done better to have expanded this popular restaurant.
The burgers etc are excellent here, yes they are a little pricey, but no more so than elsewhere in Disney which has always overcharged a largely captive market. However, unlike other Disney offerings this place actually provides good food for the money - a rarity in the land of the mouse.
The deserts are a little too sweet for our taste but that is probably an English view as I noticed that there always seemed to be a kilo of sugar in everything!

Front desk at the new Italian on the BWalk could not find our ressie so trotted over here.
First impressions pretty good, the bar and restaurant is very smart. But Oh dear that's where the good news ended. Over priced, poor quality food for the most part. Most of family had Calamari for appetizers, which were very dry and rubbery. I had the prawns which were very good the highlight of all the meals.
My daughter had the seafood risotto, which seemed to be made with rice pudding rice and was far to sweet and creamy for our taste.
My wife a salad which was not fresh. Unbelievable. My son and I both had a seafood pasta which was pretty ordinary. $250 later we had a few drinks 4 starters and 4 entrees. My wife was sick later. I saw another person tempura prawns which I know were $32. Amazed to see this contained 4 prawns. $8 dollars a prawn!!Typical Disney a lot of money for mediocre food. We now tend to eat off property as we find the cost very fair and the quality almost always better and unlike Disney portions are generous to the extreme.

I have slated several Disney restaurants so only fair to laud one that gets it right.
Ate here twice on last visit July 2015. The only Disney restaurant we went back too. On both occasions my wife and I had the Strip Steak, good quality well cooked. Service here is very good also. Kids meals also good.
It can be done Disney! Send your other restaurant managers to this place if you want to improve.

We stayed 1 night this time at Pop Century on 7/14, and as usual we were quite happy! We got to the resort at about 7:45a that morning so that we can park there at the resort and just hop on the bus up to the Magic Kingdom, so I went to check in to get the parking pass for my car, and the CM at the front desk told me my room was already ready, and we can take our stuff up to the room, and we did exactly that! We were in the 60's section (went with the preferred room), and we were on the 4th floor facing the pool. That night after we got back from the Magic Kingdom, it was nice with the quick walk to our room, but well past 10p it was still fairly noisy outside around the pool, which I didn't like a lot. The next morning it was quiet, and we checked out, but still kept the car there and got on the bus to Downtown Disney/Disney Springs to do some shopping before we left. We'll be staying there again, just not with the pool view.

We used Garden grocer for the first time on July 7th. I placed the order online before we went. There is a small delivery fee and if you order early enough you get a discount and if you spend enough there is no fee. We ordered milk and breakfast items, cases of water and snacks. They even text you when your order is delivered & package cold items separate. Bell services will keep the cold items cold till you get there. They made a small error with one of our snack items- little Debbie cake rounds instead of brownies. I responded to the text they send to see if everything was ok and they are quick to respond. They were very nice about it & delivered the correct item the next morning. I would definitely use Garden Grocer again.
