Worst pasta I have ever had
vodka rigatoni - way undercooked - almost like they thought they were cooking capellini - almost no sauce - it was a dusting. I am still kicking myself for not sending it back.
It is very loud in here as well
Pros:
the fried mozz was goodCons:

We just tried Ale & Compass for the first time and were super underwhelmed by the experience. We originally had reservations at Topolino's, but they were having a kitchen issue so we grabbed an Ale & Compass reservation as a quick last minute switch.
For starters, we had the porter house rolls. Loved the butter and the dips, and honestly, you can't go wrong with rolls. 10/10
Dinner was where it fell apart, though. I ordered the pappardelle pasta with chicken and my husband got the red wine-braised flat iron. The pasta was super hammered. It came out extremely clumpy and stuck together and before I even took one bite, I knew it was going to be overcooked and hard to eat. I did get a laugh at how our waitress asked if everything was delicious, instead of whether everything was okay for us. It was like she knew just by seeing it that it wouldn't be okay. The flavor was okay but I ended up eating just the chicken and left the pasta. 3/10
My husband's flat iron was tender, but super dry. There wasn't much of a glaze or jus on the plate so it made it a little hard to eat. He did like potatoes well enough, though. 5/10
For drinks, I tried the spicy pomegranate margarita. I absolutely love a well-balanced, spicy margarita...BUT...this...was..not...it. The amount of ancho reyes chili liqueur in the drink made it nearly impossible to drink. Instant heartburn. And the lime was so tart that it actually hurt going down. It's hard for me not to enjoy a margarita, but this one just didn't work. 2/10.
My husband got their manhattan which is one of his normal \"go-to's\". He said it was okay but it wasn't very well balanced either. 5/10 for him.
Pros:
waitress was super nice and we were able to get in right away at the last minuteCons:

I'll say it: I don't get the hype. Yes, it's iconic - it's practically the mascot ride of Magic Kingdom - but the source material is ancient, and the ride itself is about as basic as attractions get. It'll make you smile, sure. You might even enjoy it. But love it? No.
That said, credit where it's due: the queue is one of the better ones on property, with an indoor playground that lets kids burn off energy while waiting. As a (mostly) solo rider, I usually breeze straight through without a second thought, but families with younger kids will likely get real value out of that space — it might be the actual highlight for some.
Pros:
Genuinely well-designed queue with a playground for waiting families Iconic, recognizable Disney attraction Gentle enough for all ages, no thrill anxietyCons:

This one has genuinely aged well. It's a great AC break during the heat, a solid rain-day refuge, and the "There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" earworm alone makes it worth a stop. Beyond the nostalgia factor, there's real substance here - each scene walks through a slice of American technological history, and it's more engaging than you'd expect from a rotating theater attraction.
The one soft spot: the final "future" scene is showing its age a bit compared to the earlier scenes. Disney has it slated for refurbishment, so hopefully that gets a refresh soon.
Pros:
Genuinely educational without feeling like a lecture Excellent break from heat or rain Family-friendly for all ages, no motion sensitivity or height concernsCons:

Overall, best dining experience I’ve ever had on property. My wife and I had the “ Chef's Signature Dinner for Two” and the ribeye was one of the best prepared steaks I’ve ever had in my life. Amazing meal, chef’s kiss. Worth using the dining plan credits.
