My family and I love to go to the Food and Wine festival. We love experiencing different types of food and this is a perfect selection. You also have the bonus of the Eat to the beat concerts, which is an added bonus because its FREE!

Pros:

The different countries you get to choose from. free concerts. food is amazing for most part. you still get everything in Epcot plus the added bonus of the food festival.

Cons:

the weather, depending on when you go, can be very hot and humid. sometimes the food at the kiosks can be old,so not as good.

We love attending the F&W each fall to sample foods. We didnt have any bad food. Some weren't really our favorite but nothing was of poor quality. On Thursday, there were 2 food booths that still weren't open and it was past noon. There was nothing posted for a reason. For some reason, China always had a long line.

Pros:

Many choices, good food, small portions

Cons:

None

My family and I have enjoyed the food and wine festival several times, most recently my husband and I went for our 20th anniversary. I love how they have the different booths set up going around the world showcase. It's nice because you can use snack credits if you are on the Disney dining plan or they have these adorable little cards with a wrist band you can put money on. As you are walking around they have menus that you can look at, makes it good if you don't like certain foods. We love to try different foods, so we truly enjoy trying everything..there is something for everyone.i recommend it for sure.

Pros:

Getting to sample different foods from different countries.using snack credits from the dining plan.

Cons:

Weather usually very hot when festival starts.

Visited 9/14-18/17 2nd time at F&W with family. Visited during the day and still was pretty busy but not long lines. 1st time for children to attend ds24,ds19,dd21,dd9. They loved all the choices and used the passport to keep track of offerings. We were on meal plan and used the snack credits to share options. We had plenty to eat. Most surprising was dd9 who usually is a picky eater loved the challenge of sampling all the foods and did very well. She was the most excited out of everyone and actually wanted to do a food blog for children visiting F&W. We will have to think about that one but she would have done very well as she really had her opinions on the food choices. Her only complaint was the lack of non alcoholic options for kids and thought it would be a neat idea to offer more than just water or pop. We only encountered a drunken attendee who was streaming obsencities throughout most of the park we did notice security walking toward the individual and headed the opposite direction. We will visit again in a few years as we are AP holders and DVC members and want to explore different times of the year.

Pros:

35 booths this year

Cons:

limited non alcoholic options for children

I found the foods at the 2014 International Marketplaces to be of overall very good quality. Some of my favorites: the Berliner (donut) at the Germany marketplace; the Grilled Lamb Chop in Australia; the Gratin de crozet de savoie in France, along with the Sea Salt Caramel Creme Brulee. My least favorites were at the Italian booth -- both the ravioli and chicken were overpriced and rather blah. I would definitely recommend trying everything, though. You never know what you're going to like until to try it! See what others have rated the foods in our annual survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/results/SM-MGP8GTJL/

Pros:

Chance to sample foods from all over the world

Cons:

Some items a bit pricey, or small portions

I stayed at the Beach Club Villas this trip so I could be just a short walk from the Festival. I tried many food and drink offerings. My favorite food was the Dandan noodles in China but I thought the price was too high. The buffalo chicken wings were yummy as was the Greek Griddled Cheese and Australia's Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp. Best drinks I had were the Italian Margarita, Belgium's Dilireum Red Fruit Ale, France's Strawberry Rose Mimosa and the Key Lime Mimosa. The watermelon Dole Whip was a refreshing dessert. I thought the food and drink selection was very good this year.

Pros:

Lots of good things to choose from

Cons:

$8.50 is too much to charge for a tiny portion of food.

This is my favorite Epcot festival! You just can't beat a day of eating and drinking around the world. Be sure to do your research ahead of time so you know what to prioritize!

Pros:

Delicious and fun food to explore and enjoy

Cons:

Hard to eat all you want in one day--prioritize and share!

My favorite Epcot event! Last year the desserts won me over. This year it was the drinks: Guinness Bailey's Shake in Ireland, Limoncello margarita in Italy, ,frozen Sauvingnon Blanc in New Zealand, pomegranate beer ay Brewer's Collection, key lime mimosa at the Festival Center and Sparkling Kir with Elderflower liquor in France. Scallops were great at Coastal Eats but the winner in the food department was the bloody Mary seafood cocktail at the Festival Center.

Pros:

Short lines, varied food and drink selection

Cons:

Not enough time to try all I wanted to

This is our second year going to the Food and Wine Festival. As usual per Disney standards, everything was great. Many choices, good prices. We got to try food that we may not have tried before due to the sizes of the samples. But they’re not too small to share. Also many different drinks to sample as well. Many booths spaced out all around World Showcase. Would definitely recommend.

Pros:

Fun. Lots of choices.

Cons:

Can be a tad crowded on weekends but still worth the time.
