I stayed at the Beach Club Villas this trip so I could be just a short walk from the Festival. I tried many food and drink offerings. My favorite food was the Dandan noodles in China but I thought the price was too high. The buffalo chicken wings were yummy as was the Greek Griddled Cheese and Australia's Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp. Best drinks I had were the Italian Margarita, Belgium's Dilireum Red Fruit Ale, France's Strawberry Rose Mimosa and the Key Lime Mimosa. The watermelon Dole Whip was a refreshing dessert. I thought the food and drink selection was very good this year.

Pros:

Lots of good things to choose from

Cons:

$8.50 is too much to charge for a tiny portion of food.

This is my favorite Epcot festival! You just can't beat a day of eating and drinking around the world. Be sure to do your research ahead of time so you know what to prioritize!

Pros:

Delicious and fun food to explore and enjoy

Cons:

Hard to eat all you want in one day--prioritize and share!

My favorite time of year to go is fall because of this event. It’s a great way to try different types of food from all over the world.

Pros:

Great variety

Cons:

Can get pricey if you want to try a ton of things.

My favorite Epcot event! Last year the desserts won me over. This year it was the drinks: Guinness Bailey's Shake in Ireland, Limoncello margarita in Italy, ,frozen Sauvingnon Blanc in New Zealand, pomegranate beer ay Brewer's Collection, key lime mimosa at the Festival Center and Sparkling Kir with Elderflower liquor in France. Scallops were great at Coastal Eats but the winner in the food department was the bloody Mary seafood cocktail at the Festival Center.

Pros:

Short lines, varied food and drink selection

Cons:

Not enough time to try all I wanted to

This is our second year going to the Food and Wine Festival. As usual per Disney standards, everything was great. Many choices, good prices. We got to try food that we may not have tried before due to the sizes of the samples. But they’re not too small to share. Also many different drinks to sample as well. Many booths spaced out all around World Showcase. Would definitely recommend.

Pros:

Fun. Lots of choices.

Cons:

Can be a tad crowded on weekends but still worth the time.

The 2017 Food and Wine Festival is now a pleasant memory. I especially enjoyed France's goat cheese pudding and creme brûlée with raspberry jam, the quesito at Islands of the Caribbean, Scotland's citrus thistle cocktail, China's black pepper shrimp, Hawaii's passion fruit cheese cake, Australia's bush berry shrimp, Mexico's tequila chipotle shrimp, the Limoncello margarita in Italy and Greece's bougatsa. Hands down, the desserts were the winners this year (in my book). There were many things on my list I didn't have a chance to try, as always happens. With drinks averaging $10 and many food tastes at $6+ money seems to evaporate but that's Disney! The only disappointment was the pomegranate beer was sold out when I stopped for it on Nov.7. I really wanted to try it. Of couse the crowds were awful on the weekend and even one of the Mondays I was there. But overall, lines moved quickly and cast members were efficient and pleasant. Can't wait for Festival 2018! Hope the pomegranate beer is back!

Pros:

Lots of good items this year

Cons:

some prices high, lines very long at times

My wife & I experienced the F&W fest on our first trip to Disney back in '99. We've been lucky enough to get back a few times since and it seems this event just gets better & better. The food and wine, the music, the presentations. Something for everyone.
Now we're back with our 14 yr old twins and the family loves the idea of purchasing smaller plates that we can all share. If we find something one of us really enjoys, we grab another little taste.
We were in Epcot on 4/3/15 and we came with some friends who now live in the area with their two daughters. We had carne asada tacos from the Mexico booth. We always go to the China booth to get those candied strawberries. We loved the chicken buns and spring rolls they had this year. I think we went back to get 2 extra orders of those buns. Delish! Manicotti from the Italy booth, burnt ends hash from one of the bbq booths. Everything was excellent.
Food, wine, music, family & Disney. Does life get any better? I only wish we could go every year.

Pros:

Variety of foods; tapas sized servings

Cons:

none

15 festivals later and the food just keeps getting better. Something for everyone. Prices are starting to creep into the "Are you kidding me" zone. Someone needs to pay attention to this. Had some amazing food and to get seconds on some!

Pros:

Amazing Choices

Cons:

Getting Pricey

Food & Wine festival is one of my favorite events to visit for! There are so many different options to choose from. Not only having the extra food choices to try but also having the seminars and concerts are a great experience. My boyfriend & I visited in 2012 for food & wine, we had the deluxe dining plan which was one of the best things we could have had for this event! Since you are able to use snacks for the event we did not end up paying out of pocket & we tried so may foods & drinks. It is a busy time of year but so worth it. We got a passport at the begining of the trip & got a stamp from almost every country. One of the best things the we tried was the chicken roll from japan- I think I got that 3 times that trip- its that good! It is nice to have the oppertunity to sample foods from different countries without having to purchase a whole meal.

Pros:

Lots of options

Cons:

Grand time last week. Went for two and a half days. Friday night was very busy. Monday was better. Lines on Friday night and Sunday were very long, but we persevered. Some wonderful foods. A few, Italy and Poland not so good. Beer flights very popular with our party. Canada and France were our party's favorites.

Pros:

food, beer, wine

Cons:

very busy on weekend
