January 2015 - N/AHollywood Land : Disney California AdventureMuppet*Vision 3D closed indefinitely. The theater has been renamed the Sunset Showcase. From July 1- August 14 the theater will host a preview of Pete's Dragon.
Early 2015 - Mar. 07Cars Land : Disney California AdventureLuigi's Flying Tires Will be replaced by Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters. Scheduled to open 3/7/16.

Jan. 04 - May. 01a bug's land : Disney California AdventureIt's Tough to Be a Bug Closed for installation of Jungle Book preview. Preview opens March 18, and will run for an unspecified period of time. The movie opens in theaters on April 15.
Jan. 10 - PERMANENT CLOSUREHollywood Land : Disney California AdventureAladdin "Disney's Aladdin -- A Musical Spectacular" closed on January 10, 2016, after nearly 14,000 shows since its debut in January 2003. The story of "Frozen" will take Aladdin's place in an all-new theatrical production opening May 27,2016 at the Hyperion Theater.

Sep. 06 - Oct. 02Disney California Adventure : Disneyland ResortAP Days at Disney California Adventure AP Days will take place at Disney California Adventure from September 6-October 2. Special events for Annual Passholders include Disney character appearances, a series of AP buttons and recipe cards (a new one each Monday while supplies last), color/crafting opportunities for kids, and special merchandise.
Oct. 07 - Nov. 06Hollywood Land : Disney California AdventureDr. Strange Sneak Peek Sneak peak, complete with special effects, in the Sunset Showcase Theater. The movie opens on November 4, 2016.
Oct. 10 - Oct. 13a bug's land : Disney California AdventureIt's Tough to Be a Bug Closed for installation of "Moana" sneak peed.
Oct. 14 - Nov. 27a bug's land : Disney California AdventureMoana Sneak Peek A 3-D preview of the upcoming movie "Moana" is held in the "It's Tough to Be a Bug" theater. The movie opens on November 23, 2016.

Feb. 10 - Mar. 19Hollywood Land : Disney California AdventureBeauty and the Beast Sneak Peek The Sunset Showcase Theater in Hollywood Land hosts an extended sneak peek at the upcoming live action film, "Beauty and the Beast". The sneak peak will feature special in-theater effects. Props and costumes will be on display in the lobby. The film, starring Emma Watson as Belle, opens in theaters on March 17.

Mar. 10 - Apr. 16Disney California Adventure : Disneyland ResortDisney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival The expanded Food and Wine Festival will include even more Festival Marketplaces to enjoy this year, plus enhanced Festival-inspired menus at existing restaurants and eateries. Guests will enjoy culinary experiences created for the whole family, including a variety of food, beverage and lifestyle seminars, demonstrations and presentations. The Festival will also feature ticketed events, such as culinary demonstrations, beer, wine and spirit seminars, premium dining events and demonstrations by celebrity chefs such as Guy Fieri, Robert Irvine, Duff Goldman and Keegan Gerhard.

Sep. 15 - Nov. 02Pixar Pier : Disney California AdventurePlaza de la Familia - A Celebration of Disney*Pixar's 'Coco' Held in Paradise Gardens from September 15-November 2, Plaza de la Familia will feature storytellers and original songs from "Coco" performed by dancers and musicians. Throughout the days guests can also enjoy Mariachi music, a photo location and a menu of Mexican foods.
Sep. 15 - Oct. 31Hollywood Land : Disney California AdventureGuardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark During Halloween Time, each night starting at 6:00 and until park closing, the Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! attraction becomes Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark. The attraction features new visuals and a new song by Tyler Bates.

Mar. 20 - Opening 2020a bug's land : Disney California AdventureMarvel Super Heroes-Themed Land The Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe. This new land, opening in 2020, will be anchored by the Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, in the adjacent space that is currently occupied by "a bug's land." "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19; the rest of the land will close September 5.
