When Lilo and Stitch came out in 2002, I had no idea what Disney was doing. It did not take me long to become enthralled by the movie with Stitch as one of the more lovable Disney characters (though it took until the end of the movie for that to happen). Do you still yell … Continue reading "Disney Pic of the Week: Stitch"
Epcot Germany Pavilion from Fisheye to (almost) Normal
Posted onEven when I had a Fisheye lens on my camera, I could not help myself to take a photo of the Germany pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Germany is so different then all the other countries with a wide open and welcoming courtyard with the statue of St. George on his horse in the center. … Continue reading "Epcot Germany Pavilion from Fisheye to (almost) Normal"

Editing Friendship Boat on Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon
Posted onHere is another way to edit a photo to bring out more detail from a flat looking scene. I enjoy riding in and photographing the Friendship boats which cruise Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon. In this first photo, the clouds are rather flat looking above the pavilions and the trees do not show a lot of definition. … Continue reading "Editing Friendship Boat on Epcot’s World Showcase Lagoon"
Disney Pic of the Week: Tree of Life Holiday
Posted onUsing projections the Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom comes alive at night during the holidays. Using the Nifty-Fifty aka Nikon 50mm f/1.8 prime lens, and setting my camera’s ISO to 10,000, I was able to use a hand-holdable shutter to capture the projection on the Tree of Life.
