Disney Planning Not Two, But Three New Ships
Posted onDisney fans attending D23 Expo in Anaheim were the first to hear that Disney Cruise Line is planning not two, but three new ships in the next phase of expansion.
Last year, it was announced that two new ships were going to be built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Germany with scheduled completion dates of 2021 and 2023. This additional ship will be built at the same shipyard and is scheduled to be completed in 2022.

Disney Cruise Line to Add Even More Fun on the Disney Fantasy

Among the enhancements: In Disney's Oceaneer Club, the new Star Wars: Command Post will allow kids to interact with holographic models at a one of-a-kind Star Wars holotable. In addition, at the all-new Marvel Super Hero Academy, kids will learn from real-life Super Heroes, including Doctor Strange, the heroic values of enlightenment, worthiness and loyalty. Families can enjoy the new Sweet on You ice cream shop, themed after the iconic Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts. And for the first time, Disney Cruise Line will welcome the world's premier jewelry and iconic American luxury brand, Tiffany and Co. These enhancements debut on Disney Fantasy sailings starting May 17, 2017, from Port Canaveral.
