4 Hotels With Free Breakfast Within 5 Miles of Disney World

The old saying “breakfast is the most important meal of the day” is especially true for those vacationing at Walt Disney World, as the somewhat exhausting nature of a day at the resort’s theme parks definitely requires some early morning fuel.

That’s why those planning where to stay on their trip to the “Most Magical Place on Earth” often take breakfast offerings into account when selecting their hotel.

Before we get into some of the hotel options we’ve discovered, a quick reminder to those who may be planning their first Walt Disney World trip: Disney’s on-property hotels do NOT offer complimentary breakfast. However, that doesn’t mean you can get a free breakfast while staying very close to Walt Disney World property.

Buena Vista Suites Orlando

Let’s begin at the Buena Vista Suites Orlando, located about 1.5 miles from Disney’s property. This official Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel offers scheduled shuttle service to the resort and its theme parks. For breakfast, guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast buffet including eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, bagels, whole fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM on weekdays, and 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM on weekends.

Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando

Located only a half mile from Disney Springs, the Drury Plaza Hotel offers stunning views of Disney World — you can even see the fireworks from your room — as well as complimentary transportation to all four Disney parks. The Drury’s complimentary breakfast includes eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, KELSO+BROS coffee, and more from 6:00 AM to 10:00 am daily.

Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando and Springhill Suites Orlando

Both of these hotels are located at Flamingo Crossings, a Disney-developed “third-party” area located on land owned by Disney but technically outside of Disney’s gates. The Flamingo Crossings hotels offer paid shuttle service to Walt Disney World’s hotels, and both the Fairfield Inn & Suites and Springhill Suites offer complimentary breakfast to their guests.

The Fairfield offers a traditional breakfast buffet with options including scrambled eggs, bacon, and fluffy Mickey waffles from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM each day. Meanwhile, the Springhill Suites offers free buffet breakfast and free hot breakfast each day from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM.
