Your First Day at Disney World Is About to Get 10X Better

Your bags are packed, your dining reservations are booked, and you are heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth! But where should you spend your first day on vacation?

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is one of the best ways to start your Disney World trip. You don’t need a park ticket or Lightning Lanes. Here you can simply walk around, shop, and eat amazing food. And soon, there will be one more reason to visit Disney Springs on your first day!

A new experience is coming to Disney Springs called Level99 this summer! Level99 is an “interactive social gaming venue.” This attraction is a chain that spreads across three other locations around the U.S.

Level99 will open this summer on Disney Springs’ West Side. No specific opening date has been revealed yet, but the opening timeline announcement comes with NEW concept art! This rendering shows off the venue’s two-story bar.

This fourth Level99 location will be its largest, with more than 45,000 square feet of space. Here, you’ll be able to enjoy craft food and beverages, and play more than 60 different life-sized mini-games. They’ll also have more than 40 incredible art installations inside.

Menu items available include award-winning Detroit-style pizza, wagyu burgers, craveable snacks, handcrafted cocktails, and rotating beers on tap. We recently got to experience Level99 in Virginia, so these are some of the things you can look forward to seeing at Disney Springs soon.

When we visited, we were really surprised by the variety of games available and how many fun themes the rooms had! Some of the games are more physical, while others were more mental challenges, and were just as difficult (in a fun way, of course). When we were struggling with a game, we found ourselves wanting to try over and over again to do better, but never in a frustrated way. We had a blast getting to run, jump, swing around, and overall play in ways you don’t normally get to once you grow up.

You can actually track your progress in your LEVEL99 account, so no matter what location you visit, you can log in and continue your progress. Yes, even if it’s been months since you last visited, it’ll still keep track of your progress, which we think is fantastic.

The food really impressed us. It was all full-on restaurant-style food with a variety of options, ranging from Bavarian-style pretzels and Detroit-style pizza, all the way to Birria Street Tacos and House Wagyu Burgers. There were also lots of drinks to pick from, with cocktails being the most popular drink option. These are house-made cocktails, too!

And you can get food and drinks

Overall, we think Disney Springs is a great location for this experience. It feels like it’s filling a great need. Soon, there will be a spot that adults and teens can go to have tons of fun together while also being genuinely challenged, and also being able to enjoy a solid restaurant all in one place. Some of the challenges are best completed with a group, while others are great for 2-3 players. Groups between 2-6 players are ideal here, so it’s perfect for a date night or outing with friends!

The games are meant to be played with others
