Sure, Disneyland churros are known for being popular — but we never expected them to be this popular!

As part of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration, Disney partnered with Topps to create Disneyland-themed trading cards to commemorate and collect characters, pins, places, and items from the Happiest Place on Earth. The Churro card happens to be one of the most sought-after cards, with one recently selling for a whopping $560. Yes, you read that right!
A Black Foil parallel Churro card recently sold for $560 online, making it the most expensive card in the entire set, according to Sports Illustrated. The Disneyland 70th Anniversary set was released in March and includes a 150-card base set, plus additional subsets like Then and Now, Timeline, Concept Art, and Snack Time.

There is also a Pirate’s Life Chrome set, Attraction Autographs, and Unsigned On-Site cards, which collectors can bring to Disneyland to have characters sign. The parallel versions of the cards are popular on the resale market, with an Ariel Black Foil card selling for $250 back in March.

The $560 Black Foil Churro card is part of the Snack Time at Disneyland subset, which also includes cards of Mickey Waffles, Classic Mickey-Shaped Beignets, Mickey Pretzels, Corn Dogs, and Popcorn, among others.
In addition to the Black Foil cards numbered to 10, other parallel cards include the Red Foils numbered to 5, the Lightbulb Park exclusive numbered to 5, and the Foilfractor 1/1 card. With the recent sale of the Black Foil Churro card for over $500, experts predict the 1/1 Foilfractor card could fetch over $2,000 on the resale market.

The Disneyland Set also includes rare 1/1 sketch cards inspired by various characters, rides, and other locations around the resort. Disneyland Churros make multiple appearances throughout this set as well.
