I don’t care how old I am — if I’m in a Disney park, you’ll likely find me with Minnie Ears on.

Since wearing Minnie Ears for decades, I’ve recently learned some tricks that I now follow on every trip that help me. These make my Disney days more organized and more comfortable while wearing my ears.
1. Choose Comfort Over Everything!
I won’t lie to you. Wearing Minnie Ears can actually hurt and give me a headache — depending on which ones I’m wearing. Some of the Disney styles can dig into my head, so I look for ones that feel lighter and more comfortable. I have found that Baublebar typically falls into those categories — plus they are adorable.

2. Have a Plan For Rides!
While riding certain attractions or watching shows, you’ll need to remove your Minnie ears. Instead of stuffing them in your bag to maybe bend them, I like to use an ear holder to attach them to my park bag.

The Eybila 2Pcs Mouse Ear Holder for Backpack is perfect for this. You get two keychains per order. The colorful bead lanyard keychain is about 9 inches. The ear holder is securely fastened to your bag with a lobster clasp. No more bending or worse, losing your Minnie ears.
3. Pack Them Correctly
If you are packing a few pairs of Minnie ears, you can’t just throw them in your suitcase. They could bend or break. So we love the idea of having a carrying case for them that’s separate.

This Chenille Letter Mouse Ears Headband Bag is a great choice. This travel case has a shoulder strap with multiple pockets. It’s 11″x11″x4.5.
4. Store Them Properly at Home
It’s just as important to store them properly at home as well. I used to just throw mine in a bin, but then I noticed the headbands were bending. So I invested in an ear holder that I can put in my closet.

This Heaband Holder Organizer is made out of acrylic, so it’s sturdy enough to hold your collection. It’s also a great way to display all of your ears.
5. Don’t Break the Bank
Let’s be real — Minnie ears can get pricey at $35-45 a pair. That’s when we start to look for cheaper ways to grab our favorite pairs. The Character Warehouse is found just outside of Disney World. Here they sell discounted merchandise. So whether you missed the holiday ears that are no longer in the parks or are looking for discounted pairs, we suggest heading here!

In the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the latest Disney deals, so make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for more!
