Disneyland Has Officially Said Goodbye to FastPasses, But We’re Still Mourning

There’s something so nice about seeing old FastPass booths in Disneyland. It’s a reminder of simpler times when we could easily go to a theme park, print out a ticket, and skip the line!

Since FastPass hasn’t been printable in almost 15 years now,  it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Disneyland is renovating a ticket booth to become the only thing we’re happy for!

The former Tower of Terror FastPass ticket booth is being converted into an outdoor eating area. New Disney permits show the renovated structure will have new joists and electrical work.

The Tower of Terror was re-themed into Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! in 2017, but its FastPass ticket booth kept the Tower of Terror theming despite the closure. Other than FastPass signage being taken down during the conversion to Lightning Lane, no work has been done on the structure.

The FastPass counter is located near the popular restaurant Pym Test Kitchen, which serves Marvel-themed food that’s been jumbo-sized by Ant-Man. During mealtime rushes, it can get packed.

We love Pym Test Kitchen, but don’t go too often since the tables are pretty limited and all in the sun. We’re glad that more covered seating will come to one of our favorite DCA restaurants!

Avengers Campus has some more great changes coming soon. Disney is currently expanding the land to be double the size! It will add two new rides – Stark Flight Lab, where you can fly in Iron Man’s suit, and you’ll team up with the Avengers to stop Thanos in Avengers Infinity Defense.
