We Spent an ENTIRE Day Trying NEW Disney Snacks — And There Are 9 You NEED To Know About

New Disneyland food? Of course we had to try it all.

Infinity Cream Puffs

Disneyland’s menus are constantly evolving, and with so many new items popping up, we decided to dive in and sample as many as we could. Some dishes instantly impressed us, others didn’t quite hit the mark, but all of them added to a fun (and very full) day of eating around the parks.

Trying new food at Disneyland is always a bit of a gamble, but that’s part of the fun. Some bites immediately earn a spot on the must-order list, others fall into the “glad we tried it once” category, and a few surprise you in ways you don’t expect (for better or worse). What makes experiences like this so enjoyable is getting to taste the creativity Disneyland continues to bring to its menus, whether that’s through bold new flavors, playful presentations, or nostalgic treats done just a little differently.

New sweets

This recent round of snacks and meals perfectly captures that mix. From unexpectedly standout savory options to desserts that are as fun to look at as they are to eat, something is exciting about discovering what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d happily grab again on your next visit. Even the misses help shape future choices and make the wins that much sweeter.

Get ready for a full day of food hunting

Now, let’s take a deeper dive into everything new to eat you’ll find across Disneyland and Disney California Adventure (and our honest thoughts about them ALL)!

Pym Test Kitchen

Here we picked up the Formulated French Toast for $11.99. It’s made of Bacon, Blueberry-flavored Popping Spheres, Jamaica Syrup, Whipped Cream, and Sprinkles.

Formulated French Toast

This one didn’t quite land for us in the way we hoped, and it’s not something that will be replacing our go-to breakfast option at Disneyland. The standout part of the dish was actually the bacon. It had a great smoky, savory flavor and a texture that wasn’t overly chewy, which we appreciated. The French toast itself had a light cinnamon flavor but was noticeably dry, to the point where we only managed a few bites before tapping out.

A bite of the French toast

While the Jamaican syrup helped with the dryness, it introduced an artificially sweet, almost floral flavor that just wasn’t for us. We could also do without the boba entirely next time; the artificial berry flavor was surprisingly strong and something we’d happily scrape off rather than eat again.

Jolly Holiday

Over in Disneyland, we scooped up the Peanut Butter Brownie Slice for $7.99. It’s made with Brownie Slice topped with Peanut Butter Mousse, Melted Peanut Butter, and Chocolate.

Peanut Butter Brownie Slice

We had high hopes for this one, and we’re happy to report it ABSOLUTELY lived up to them! The brownie is served chilled, giving it a dense, fudgy texture that’s thick without being difficult to chew. The chocolate flavor is rich and decadent, making it the perfect base for the sweet-and-salty peanut butter mousse layered on top.

Cut section of the slice

The mousse has a cool, creamy texture that blends seamlessly with what tastes like melted peanut butter…and honestly, we couldn’t tell where one ended, and the other began. If you’re a fan of the classic chocolate and peanut butter combo, this is an easy must-get!

Red Rose Taverne

Over at Red Rose Taverne, you’ll find the new Breakfast Fantasyland Faire Fold for $12.99. This dish is made of a flour tortilla filled with Cheese, Hash Brown, Egg, Bacon, Sausage and Creamy Aioli.

Breakfast Fantasyland Faire Fold

This is a delicious little pocket of pure breakfast happiness. It’s surprisingly filling and works perfectly as an on-the-go option, especially if you don’t want to slow down your morning in the park. Every bite is packed with flavor, but the biggest surprise was the creamy aioli. At first, it tasted a bit like Thousand Island dressing, then quickly revealed a mild kick of spice (not overwhelming at all), just enough to elevate everything inside. It was also great with ketchup, which felt like a bonus win.

Breakfast Fantasyland Faire Fold

Inside, every component pulls its weight. The hash brown is crunchy, the bacon is cooked just right, the sausage is flavorful, and the eggs are fluffy and well-scrambled. Add in the cheese, and it all comes together beautifully. Honestly, there’s nothing bad to say about this one — it’s an easy winner in our book and something we’d absolutely order again!

Maurice’s Treats

Then it was time to move on to something sweet like the Chocolate Croissant Cookie for $6.79.

Chocolate Croissant Cookie

This one landed squarely in the “just okay” category for us. The flavor itself was good, but the texture didn’t quite work. It’s essentially a very large chocolate chip cookie made from a croissant that’s been cooked flat, which gives it a crisp, sugary exterior.

Golden brown goodness

While some bites delivered a decent chocolate flavor, others leaned much more heavily into buttery croissant notes, making the chocolate feel lighter than expected overall. Because of that inconsistency, we’d personally choose a classic chocolate croissant from Jolly Holiday or a traditional chocolate chip cookie from one of Disneyland’s confectionery shops instead.

Schmoozie’s

If that wasn’t already enough, we had to save room to try out the Strawberry, Hazelnut, Chocolate & Pistachio Mickey Shake for $14.29. This shake’s full contents are Strawberry Shake with Pistachio Whipped Topping, Fried Kataifi, and Chocolate Sauce.

Strawberry, Hazelnut, Chocolate & PIstachio Mickey Shake

This one was unfortunately a miss for us. We went in hoping for more of a strawberry milkshake vibe, but the hazelnut flavor completely took over, with only a hint of strawberry coming through. We also quickly found out we’re not a fan of the super thick, bright green whipped cream…and yes, it’s so thick that it literally stuck to the cup! The pistachio flavor is present, but it tastes very artificial, which became even more noticeable once all the flavors were mixed.

Fun shake, weird whipped cream!

While it’s not completely terrible once everything is combined, the artificial taste and heavy whipped cream make it hard to enjoy. At $14.29, it’s a hefty investment for a treat, and this felt like a big swing and a miss. Also, fair warning: that green whipped cream will absolutely dye anything it touches.

Terran Treats

Then we turned our attention to the Infinity Cream Puffs for $9.50.

Infinity Cream Puffs

When these popped up on the list of new snacks, we had SUPER high hopes, and somehow, they still managed to exceed them! Not only are these little cream puffs absolutely gorgeous with their vibrant colors, but they’re also genuinely delicious. Each puff has its own distinct flavor, which makes trying them feel like a mini tasting experience rather than just another dessert.

So fun!

Opening the box, the smell immediately reminded me of Fruity Pebbles, but don’t let that fool you — the flavors themselves are much more balanced and enjoyable than you might expect. Every bite was light, creamy, and thoughtfully done, making this one of those treats that’s as fun to eat as it is to look at. These are a standout snack and easily one of the most exciting new desserts we’ve tried recently.

Tiana’s Palace

Then it was off to try the Sweet Heat Beignet Chicken Sandwich for $15.29!

Sweet Heat Beignet Chicken Sandwich

This was the best item of the day by far! Every element on this sandwich works together beautifully. The fried chicken is coated in buffalo sauce, giving it that “sweet heat” kick (not overly spicy), but definitely bold enough that if you’re not a buffalo fan, this one might not be for you. The chicken itself was fantastic, with crispy skin on the outside and juicy, tender meat inside.

With the top off

The slaw adds a cool, tangy crunch that balances out the heat from the sauce perfectly, and the beignet bun brings a soft, slightly sweet contrast. In some bites, the bun’s vanilla sweetness really came through, though it did soak up a lot of the sauce, which muted that sweetness a bit. Even so, this is an easy repeat order for me and a standout must-try if you’re visiting Tiana’s Palace.

Milk Stand

You know we had to try out the newest milk flavor to hit the galaxy, so it was off to try the Pink Milk for $8.99.

Pink Milk

When ordering this one, a Cast Member described Pink Milk as banana and strawberry-flavored, while the app simply lists it as having sweet, fruity characteristics. After trying it, we’d definitely lean toward the app’s description as we couldn’t really put our finger on any specific fruit flavors. The sweetness is strong and very artificial, with the closest comparison being pink bubble gum.

Tastes like bubblegum to us

Normally, overly artificial flavors aren’t my favorite, but surprisingly, I didn’t mind this one. It’s sweet, refreshing, and easy to drink, especially if you already enjoy the other milk offerings in Galaxy’s Edge. Is it an everyday order? Probably not, but it’s absolutely worth trying at least once if you’re a fan of the Star Wars milk drinks.

Lucky Fortune Cookery

The Matcha-Raspberry Baymax Macaron is filled with Raspberry Gelée and Matcha Buttercream and will cost you $7.79.

Matcha-raspberry Baymax Macaron

This wasn’t our favorite Baymax macaron, but it’s still a solid option. If you’re not a fan of either matcha or raspberry, this definitely isn’t the treat for you! The matcha flavor is fairly mild compared to the raspberry, which we wish had been reversed, but the raspberry itself is bright and quite tasty. The two flavors do pair well together, and the dessert isn’t overly sweet, which actually works in matcha’s favor.

Inside of the macaron

As always with Lucky Fortune Cookery, the macaron’s texture is spot-on: crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. While we were hoping for more of a green tea ice cream–style matcha flavor, it wasn’t quite what we ended up with flavor-wise, but it’s still a well-executed dessert and earns an overall higher ranking.

Red Rose

Here we picked up two different eats. We’ll start by talking about the Gaston Burger we grabbed first for $18.29.

Gaston Burger

We really loved this one! The pastrami portion was GENEROUS (honestly, we got more pastrami than burger patty) and it delivered big smoky, salty, beefy flavor. The burger patty itself was a bit dry with a noticeable peppery seasoning, but the sautéed onions and peppers helped add some much-needed sweet and savory balance. We were expecting a little heat from the pepperoncino but didn’t really get any spice.

Cross-section of the burger

There were also pickles and a Thousand Island–style sauce on the bottom that weren’t listed in the description, which was a surprise, but not an unwelcome one. This was definitely something we love to come back to when we’re not already completely stuffed.

We also picked up the Black Cherry Tavern Cold Brew for $6.79.

Black Cherry Tavern Cold Brew

This one was just okay for us. It’s not bad by any means, but there are other coffee options in the park that we think have a more interesting flavor profile. The chocolate didn’t stand out much and tasted more like a standard cold brew overall. When drinking it with a straw, we didn’t really pick up any cherry flavor either, even though we could see the topper sinking toward the bottom.

The flavor at the bottom — delicious!

Once we tried the topper on its own, though, it had a subtle, sweet, and natural dark cherry flavor that we actually really enjoyed. It paired nicely with the bitterness of the cold brew… we just wish it came through a bit more while sipping it.

Outdoor Vending

To finish out our day of trying all the new eats, we saved possibly the best for last — the Watermelon Cotton Candy with the 70th Anniversary bag! This one will cost you $6.50, and you can pick it up at several locations around the park.

Watermelon Cotton Candy with 70th Anniversary bag

This one was sooooo good! We absolutely loved this watermelon cotton candy. The watermelon flavor is light and subtle, which is exactly what it needs to be — just enough to add something extra without overpowering the classic cotton candy taste. It strikes the perfect balance between fruity and nostalgic, making it dangerously easy to keep reaching back into the bag. Add in the adorable 70th Anniversary packaging, and this one feels like a total win. Pure cotton candy perfection.

Such great flavor!

If you’re visiting Disneyland soon, hopefully this roundup gives you a helpful head start on what to seek out (and what you might want to skip) while leaving plenty of room for your own discoveries along the way. After all, half the magic of Disneyland food is finding your own favorites one bite at a time!
