With Thanksgiving coming up soon, some families may be a little concerned about the rising cost of groceries and what it means for their Thanksgiving Day dinner. Thankfully, ALDI is here to save the day — here’s how you can get a full Thanksgiving meal at ALDI for only $40!
It’s true! According to Good Morning America, ALDI’s Thanksgiving meal deal will cost only $40 this year, and feeds up to 10 people — that’s $4 a person! This is also a $7 decrease from the same meal last year.
Aldi CEO Atty McGrath said the following when asked about the offering, “The ALDI commitment to low prices is unwavering, and I am thrilled that we are able to offer an even more affordable holiday meal than last year. Saving our shoppers money is our mission every day — but it is especially important during the holidays when they need it most.”
The lineup of 21 products, to be purchased individually and marked on the shelves, includes a 14-pound turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, mac and cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie, among many others. In a recent statement, Scott Patton, CCO of ALDI U.S., said, “Price leadership is part of our DNA, and the holidays are when our commitment to value really shines. We believe families shouldn’t have to make trade-offs to feed everyone, especially at Thanksgiving.” There are no additional coupons or savings needed to get the meal items at their $40 total price.
Starting October 15th and through December 24th, ALDI customers can also order their Thanksgiving spread through grocery delivery partners like Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash, but know that this will incur additional costs. You can also order these items online and select curbside pickup.
