If You Need Me, I'll Be Watching Ilona Maher's Disney Dance from 'Dancing With the Stars' on Repeat

Who else is a huge fan of Dancing With the Stars?!

Each season, professional dancers pair up with celebrities and turn them into dancers while judges and we at home vote for our favorites. We’re over halfway through the 33rd season of this show and on Tuesday, October 22nd, they celebrated Disney night! However, there is one dance that is going viral online right now…and for good reason!

Ilona Maher, best known for winning a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in rugby, is a contestant on this season. She is partnered up with pro Alan Bersten, and for Disney night they danced to “Surface Pressure” from Encanto!

After many comments from fans, the Olympian posted on TikTok last week, “We’ve heard you and we’re gonna deliver. I’ve always seen myself in the character of Luisa, so I can’t wait to portray a beautiful, strong character.”

Her partner Alan dressed up as one of the donkeys from this iconic scene in the movie…but be warned — it’s both terrifying and hilarious! Watch the entire dance below.

The judges on the show scored each routine out of 10 points and this dance ended up winning the duo their first 9! This is a dance that’s sure to go down in Dancing With the Stars history. So if you need me, I’ll be watching this on repeat in all of my spare time!
