Universal Orlando has been keeping us on our toes with a ton of announcements lately!
Not only are we preparing for the new DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios, but the brand new theme park — Epic Universe — will be opening in 2025. Universal has been sending cryptic updates ahead of major news, and we think we know what the latest announcement will be about!
We just got MAJOR Epic Universe news…kind of. Okay, we at least know what sort of Epic Universe we’ll be getting soon. A few days ago, Universal posted a cryptic video on X / Twitter with the date “3.28.24” and nothing else. Rumors began swirling trying to figure out what it could mean, but now we think we know!

A while back, Universal sent us a model of the Chronos Clock Tower that will be the entrance to Epic Universe, and we recently just got more cryptic Epic Universe mail!
It looks like the announcement coming on March 28th will be all about Isle of Berk — the How to Train Your Dragon-themed land at Epic Universe!
Universal sent us a box with a message that our “journey from Celestial Park” will bring us to the next portal: How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, along with instructions to “await details on March 28, 2024” and a new medallion to place in our Chronos tower!
So, of course, we did! You can check it out above the Celestial Park medallion below. We’re hoping Universal shares all the details about what we can expect from the Isle of Berk!
We know that you will be able to “Take to the skies and soar with dragons as you explore the colorful Viking village at the heart of Berk. Take part in wild boat battles, feast like a Viking and more.”
In another description, Universal notes that guests will be able to “soar with dragons in a colorful world filled with Viking adventures based on the wildly popular How to Train Your Dragon film franchise.”
