It’s officially time for all of us to gaze longingly at the international Disney Park expansions and check our bank accounts to see if purchasing plane tickets to Tokyo is in the cards for us this year.

Well, that’s what I’M doing as I write this. Anyway, Disney has released ALL-NEW DETAILS on the upcoming Fantasy Springs expansion at Tokyo DisneySea. The expansion will include lands themed to Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. It’s SUPER exciting, and we’re honestly glad that Miss Rapunzel is finally getting the hype she deserves (and not just a bathroom in Magic Kingdom). Fantasy Springs doesn’t open until June 6th, 2024, but Disney is already sharing sneak peeks of the new area. Let’s check it out!
Starting in the Frozen Kingdom based on the movie Frozen, you’ll find Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey. On this ride, you will set sail on a voyage that leads you through the story of Frozen where you’ll hear some fan-favorite songs like “Love Is an Open Door”and “Let It Go”.

Plus, there will even be a NEW restaurant! The Royal Banquet of Arendelle is opening with Fantasy Springs on June 6th, 2024! Disney shared some concept art of the restaurant — doesn’t the building look like it popped straight out of Frozen? Oh my goodness, we can’t WAIT.

Disney also shared a few photos of the new restaurant. It already looks stunning.

While we’re excited about Frozen Kingdom, especially after visiting Hong Kong Disneyland’s World of Frozen, we’re even more excited about Rapunzel’s Forest. Yes, Tangled is finally getting its very own land! Disney finally created the ride that fans of the movie have been dreaming about. It’s called Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival and yes, you get to ride through the lanterns on a boat just like in the film!

That’s not all, though. Disney is also building a SNUGGLY DUCKLING TAVERN restaurant!

Yes, just like the one in the movie! It’ll be a quick service eatery that can hold up to 620 visitors at a time, and it’ll have tons of easter eggs.

Last but not least, let’s head over to the all-new Peter Pan-themed land. Yes, Peter Pan’s Never Land will feature two new rides (Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure and Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies) as well as a counter service restaurant: Lookout Cookout.

We’re especially excited about the Tinker Bell attraction, which is meant tome you feel as though you’ve shrunken down to FAIRY SIZE!

Lookout Cookout is a counter service restaurant that will feature foods created by the Lost Kids. You can grab a Lost Kids’ Snack Box that comes with chicken tenders, seaweed fritters, banana chips, and shrimp chips.

Like, how adorable is that?!
We’re so excited that we can hardly wait. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with more details that Disney releases, so stay tuned to AE for more.
