It might seem early to already be talking about Halloween, but Halloween at Disney World is closer than you think!

While Halloween night might not be for another eight months, Disney World starts celebrating Halloween earlier than most. Last year we spotted Halloween decorations going up in July at Magic Kingdom. This makes us wonder when we can expect tickets to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party to be for sale for the 2024 season.
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event that runs on select nights at Magic Kingdom from August to November. The party starts at 7PM and goes until midnight, but guests can enter the park as early as 4PM.

Guests can dress up and trick-or-treat throughout the park. Characters make special appearances in their Halloween costumes, and certain rides get fun Halloween overlays. There are even party-exclusive treats and merchandise. The party has the “Boo to You” parade which runs twice a night, and a special fireworks show, “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.” These offerings are exclusive to the party, and you must have a ticket to see this spooky fun entertainment.

So far, we only have previous years’ information to go with as Disney has not yet announced when tickets will be going on sale. Using our best educated guess, we expect tickets to be going on sale around the same time they went on sale last year.

Normally, Disney ties in the announcement of ticket sales to their Halfway to Halloween Celebration. In past years this celebration takes place in late April or early May. Last year as part of the Halfway to Halloween celebration, Disney gave us a look at the new merchandise and some food offerings that would make their way into the park later in 2023.

On April 20th of last year, Disney announced that the party would be returning and that certain guests would be able to buy their tickets as soon as a week later.

Tickets for last year went on sale for Disney World Hotel guests on April 27th, and for the general public on May 2nd. Last year we saw ticket prices start at $99 for children and $109 for adults. We saw the highest ticket prices being $189 for children and $199 for adults.

Last year we kept track of what dates were selling out and by September 30th, all Halloween Party dates were sold out! Once tickets are announced to go on sale, we suggest getting your tickets ASAP as dates can sell out quickly.

We hope that Disney announces dates and ticket sales very soon. We will continue to keep an eye out and update you if we have any news of ticket sales for the 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party season.
