August 9th was a big day for the Walt Disney Company.

The Company held its earnings call and released its earnings report for the third quarter of 2023 and dropped some important news. Disney revealed just how the Disney Parks are doing financially, and how many subscribers Disney+ now has. But now we’ve got even MORE news on the streaming front.
First, some of Disney’s streaming services are about to get more expensive. Disney had previously announced a price increase for its ad-free plan and now we’ve got more details.
According to Variety, Disney+ Premium (no ads) will increase from $10.99 to $13.99 per month for U.S. subscribers. Hulu without ads will also see a jump from $14.99 to $17.99 per month. These changes will start on October 12th.

Note that the ad-supported prices will remain the same, with the Disney+ and Hulu bundle staying at $9.99 per month and the Disney+ and Hulu standalone ad-supported tiers at $7.99/month each.
The monthly price of Hulu’s live TV packages will also increase by $7 on October 12th. The plan with ads will go up to $76.99 per month, while the no-ads version will increase to $89.99. ESPN+ will also increase from $9.99 to $10.99 per month.

But there’s something ELSE to talk about here. There will be a NEW DUO premium Disney+ and Hulu bundle that will be offered. This will include ad-free Disney+ and Hulu. It will start to be offered on September 6th for $19.99 per month.
Disney is also still working toward making Hulu content available on Disney+ for bundle subscribers.

It is also still expected that Disney will buy out Comcast’s stake in Hulu (it’s currently 33%). Disney will be able to do that as of January 2024.
Here’s an updated chart of how much Disney’s streaming services will soon cost:
