A NEW Emergency Room Minutes From Disney World is Opening Soon

AdventHealth has become the official healthcare provider of Disney World in recent years.

The company also provides virtual healthcare to Disney World employees and guests on property. Now AdventHealth has opened up a new hospital right outside of Disney World.

This new hospital in the Flamingo Crossing area has been a work in progress for a while, and now it’s here. The emergency room will open to the public in late May, and there was even a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mickey and Minnie! In fact, the President of Walt Disney World Resort, Jeff Vahle, stopped by to commemorate the opening ceremony.

As you may have noticed, the building is filled with Key West-inspired details and Disney-themed decorations. We spy some Moana artwork in the background!

The ER is located near the western gate of Disney World at 13323 Hartzog Road in Winter Garden. That’s just a 12-minute drive from Magic Kingdom!

This new hospital has 24 private patient rooms, respiratory therapy, diagnostic imaging including CT scans, X-rays and ultrasound, and a full-service laboratory.

The emergency room will be staffed by a clinical team of board-certified emergency physicians and nurses.  Not only that, but the team will include heart, stroke, and stomach pain specialists.

Anyone in the Central Florida community can visit this new emergency room, including Disney World guests.

If you experience a minor emergency at Disney or just need some Advil or a Band-Aid, you can ask a Cast Member to direct you to the First Aid station in the park. Stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
