We’ve been keeping our eyes peeled for all the latest Tiana’s Bayou Adventure news, and we recently found out what characters we will 100% see in the new ride. Don’t forget though that Tiana’s Palace is also coming to Disneyland soon, and we’ve got more details on what we can expect from this new restaurant!

Get ready, because Tiana’s Palace officially opens in Disneyland Park on September 7th, 2023! We already knew that this new quick-service restaurant will “represent Tiana’s story and honor the flavors and flair of New Orleans,” but we’ve got the scoop on some more details!

New sign!

Check out the new Cast Member costumes — they feature Tiana’s iconic water lily symbol and we can’t get over those sleeves.

We also got a look at the lily pad and lotus ceramic set that is available to purchase at the restaurant. One House-filled Beignet comes with the purchase of the lily pad and lotus ceramic set. Look how absolutely gorgeous these dishes are!

How cute?!

And, this might be the cutest new addition to the restaurant — a Ray Firefly glow cube. Seriously, this is absolutely adorable and the only way we’ll drink from now on.

It’s Ray!

In addition to what we saw during our first look, we also got to hear more details from some of the Imagineers and executives responsible for bringing this restaurant to life.

Executive Creative Director of Walt Disney Imagineering, Kim Irvine, shared that Walt’s creation of New Orleans Square influenced the architecture of Tiana’s Palace. And, one of the first things they did when transforming French Market into Tiana’s was revamp the entire color scheme.

But, what’s really exciting is that there will be a stage with live performers and entertainment! Disney has also revamped the Mobile Order window for when you just want a quick bite and don’t want to wait in line.

There will also be an expanded outdoor area next to the Mobile Order window where they have created more room for guests waiting to pick up their order, so that folks don’t have to be waiting among guests currently dining.

We also know that there will be Easter Eggs and hidden details — though Disney didn’t give us any clues about just what those might be.

GUMBO!

Disney really wanted this restaurant to be an authentic representation of New Orleans, and you can really tell the care that went into crafting these recipes. We can’t wait for Tiana’s Palace to officially open!
