Disney Cruise Line has been expanding, with its newest ship, the Disney Wish, having first set sail this past summer.

ANOTHER ship, the Disney Treasure, is also on the way. However, a NEW partially-completed ship just joined the Disney Cruise Line fleet!
Disney just purchased a partially-completed ship, the Global Dream. This new ship will be based outside the U.S. and will “feature innovative Disney experiences along with the dazzling entertainment, world-class dining and legendary guest service that set Disney Cruise Line apart.”

What sets the new ship apart, though, is that it will be the first in the entire cruise industry to use green methanol as fuel — green methanol is one of the lowest-emission fuels currently available. Passenger capacity is expected to be around 6,000 guests with around 2,300 cast members.

Disney plans on releasing more details about the ship soon. We’ll be sure to follow along and get all those details to you as soon as we have them!
In the meantime, be sure to check out everything we’ve covered about the Disney Wish — from the food to the entertainment to the cabins!
