The Marvel Cinematic Universe just got a new addition — Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The follow up to 2018’s Black Panther had a historic opening, and we’ve also seen the film celebrated in the Disney Parks. The movie includes many of the characters we saw in the first film, and one of the actors recently spoke about making the movie in an interview.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, actress Lupita Nyong’o spoke about filming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever without the late Chadwick Boseman, who played the titular role of Black Panther in the first movie (as well as several other Marvel movies).

In the interview, she mentioned that she was inspired by Chadwick Boseman’s wife, saying “I just bore witness to the strength that she possessed and I remember being so shocked because I was broken and here she was just with a real — she was so grounded, she was like an oak. And when I was getting ready for Nakia, I thought about her a lot.” You can check out the full clip below.
