We’re still seeing the impacts from Hurricane Ian in Florida after the storm made its initial landfall in the state on September 28th.

Prior to its arrival, theme parks in the Orlando area, including Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, and SeaWorld, announced they would have multi-day closure. Today, SeaWorld has shared they will extend that closure.
In a notice on their website, SeaWorld has shared that they will be extending their two-day closure to three days, with the park to remain closed on Friday, September 30th.

Along with SeaWorld, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, Aquatica Orlando, and Discovery Cove will all remain closed on September 30th as well. If you have a date intended-ticket for September 28th through 30th, that ticket will now be extended for a date through December 31st, 2022.

Additionally, Annual Pass holders with tickets expiring between September 30th and October 2nd will have their passes extended through October 16th.
As of this writing, Disney World and Universal Orlando have not extended their closures past September 29th. However, Disney has shown clues that they could potentially extend, as there are currently no Park Pass reservations available for September 30th. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep you up to date, so stay tuned to AllEars for the very latest.
UPDATE: Disney World will be conducting a phased reopening of the theme parks and Disney Springs on September 30th. Click here for more information.
