We are less than one month away from the grand opening of Avengers Campus in Disneyland Resort!

So far, we’ve gotten a peek at all the superheroes we’ll get to meet, the new eats and drinks we’ll get to try, the brand new Spider-Man ride, and even the costumes that Cast Members will be wearing! Needless to say, we’re pretty excited to finally explore the new land. But, with only a few weeks until it opens, we’re taking a look at all the construction progress so far!
Over in Disney California Adventure, you can already explore a little bit of the new Avengers Campus, as the area that is home to Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! is already open. The ride reopened with Disneyland and will be transitioning from Hollywood Land to become part of Avengers Campus.
You enter the land through the Avengers Campus gates that are already installed in the area…

…and immediately to your left, you can spot one of the newest additions to the campus — Terran Treats! This snack kiosk will serve up colorful spiral churros (think bright blue, green, pink, purple, yellow, and orange) and new Cosmic Cream Orbs that are similar to raspberry cheesecake pate a choux.

When you first enter through the Avengers gate, you’ll also be able to spot the doors to Stark Aeronautics. This leads to a Cast Member only area, or as Disney is calling it…

…”Avengers Personnel Only.” The door is decked out with the logo and even has a fancy keypad to keep intruders from entering.

And, of course, there’s Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT! next door! This ride won’t be getting any major updates but Disney has shared that it will play into other parts of the new Avengers Campus.

When we were in line to ride it, we noticed that a display case in the queue was covered. So, it looks like there might be something new coming to the collection soon! We can’t wait to see how it relates to the rest of the land.

And, that’s about as far as you can explore before walking into the construction wall. But, you can still see a lot of the new expansion including the Avengers Quinjet…

…and Pym Test Kitchen, which will be a new Quick Service restaurant inspired by Ant-Man and The Wasp where you can find both oversized and teeny tiny dishes thanks to the use of Pym Particles.

Another new addition that you can already spot is actually on the ground! Disney added splotches of glowing yellow, purple, and blue that make it look like the earth is breaking apart and oozing from all the new buildings coming to the campus — quite the disruption!

There will be another entrance to Avengers Campus from Cars Land, so we stopped by to see how it was looking over there. The walls are still up, but you can spot the Quinjet and what looks like yellow construction equipment (which we’ve seen here for a little while now).

We can’t wait until June 4th rolls around and these walls come down! Of course, we’ll take you along with us as we explore more of Avengers Campus — so, stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
