It’s no secret that EPCOT is absolutely full of construction.
The park is in the process of a huge transformation, with new rides, restaurants, and more on the way. Recently we’ve seen a lot of progress with walls coming down near the front of the park to reveal a gorgeous fountain, but today we noticed a new construction area!
Although there are walls for a gelato stand in Italy, many of the construction walls tend to be in Future World. However, on our visit around World Showcase today, we noticed something odd in the pavilion…
…MORE construction walls!
When the Morocco pavilion was transitioning operations fully to Disney, most of the pavilion shut down. However, almost everything has reopened since then, and that’s why we were surprised to see a good chunk of it behind construction walls!
The Morocco pavilion is enormous, and many people don’t realize how far back in the pavilion you can go. But it looks like we’ll have to chill towards the front end of the area for now while the back is blocked off!
It is unclear at the moment what this construction is about, but we will let you know about any updates we receive on the pavilion. We’ll continue to bring you the latest from the Disney Parks, so stay tuned!
