This past weekend, Los Angeles County in California advanced to the Red reopening tier, which allows for movie theaters to reopen with 25% maximum capacity.

Since then, a number of movie theaters have announced their reopening plans, including the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood!
The historic El Capitan Theatre, which is owned by Disney, will reopen this Friday, March 19th.

When it opens, the single-screen theatre will be featuring none other than Disney’s newest release, Raya and the Last Dragon. The film is currently scheduled to play at the El Capitan through Sunday, March 28th.

Keep in mind that when you visit, all guests above the age of 2 are required to wear a face mask, and seating capacity will be limited. You can read up on El Captian’s full health and safety guidelines on their website!
