PHOTOS and VIDEOS! Cinderella Castle’s Holiday Projections Debut at Magic Kingdom!

The Magic Kingdom is practically buzzing with holiday excitement!

Christmas Character Cavalcades have waltzed down Main Street and we got our hands on tons of holiday goodies around Disney World. The fun doesn’t stop there! When the sun sets on the Magic Kingdom, more Christmas magic comes to life. Now, what’s more magical than Cinderella Castle all lit up for the holidays?

Castle Dream Lights is usually the big finale that happens every night during Christmastime. Disney has modified entertainment considerably this holiday season. Parades, fireworks, and large shows have been modified to allow for physical distancing and reduced crowding. That said, we still got a taste of the new holiday castle projections that will light up the night each evening!

Usually, Magic Kingdom hosts a large firework display and full-length castle show. This year, the castle featured fun holiday projections throughout the night. Periodically, the castle will light up with whimsical Christmas designs…

…with a dazzling display of red, green, and gold patterns…

…red and green…

…as well as a brilliant blue and purple!

Seriously, we’re having a hard time deciding which design is our favorite!

The sweater design is definitely poised to be a fan favorite.

Doesn’t the castle look super cozy?

While we didn’t receive the full castle display as we have in years past, the projections were delightful and the music brightened our spirits.
