So much of who we are as people is based on where we came from and who our family happens to be.

Disney+’s new film The One and Only Ivan will explore this idea through the eyes of a silverback gorilla and an elephant as the two friends try to remember their homes outside their enclosures.

And, we’ve got some exciting news! You can watch the official trailer now for The One and Only Ivan, which is coming to Disney+ on August 14th!

Although the film was originally slated to premiere on August 21st, it’s been moved up a week for viewers to enjoy sooner. You can watch a sneak peek of the heartwarming story that The One and Only Ivan will tell below!
