Sable antelope on the Uzima savanna at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Nikon D700/28-300VR, 1/250s, f/5.6, ISO 1250, EV +0.3, 300mm focal length.
Last year I stayed at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the first time. The cast member who checked me in saw my camera and felt a room upgrade to a savanna view was necessary. For the next five days I enjoyed overlooking the Uzima savanna which is much quieter then the Arusha savanna. That was fine by me. I would get up each morning and sit on the balcony to photograph and watch the birds and animals. The Sable antelopes and others gave me a wonderfully New Experience every day and makes for my Disney Pic of the Week.
