You Can Skip a Lot of Disney World “Essentials.” This Isn’t One of Them.

There are tons of portable chargers out there, and we’ve tried a ton of them. We’ve put together a list of our top three favorites, so you know that any one of them is a good fit. Starting out strong, we’ve got the Anker 621 Magnetic Portable Charger.

First of all, we love that this comes in so many different colors (talk about cute!), but, of course, the best part about it is how well it works. Your phone does need to be MagSafe compatible, which is important, as it won’t charge your phone otherwise, since it connects magnetically. It does come with a cord to recharge the portable charger itself, but it won’t be able to be used for phones that aren’t MagSafe compatible. This will be most ideal when you’re ready and willing to not use your phone for a hot second while it charges, because we did notice that the charger itself got a little warm when we were trying to use it at the same time, and any slight nudge may make the MagSafe fail, and you’ll need to reattach it.

We did also notice that this is really only great to charge your phone once before the charger itself needs to be charged, so all in all, we say this is a good fit for someone who doesn’t plan to use their phone too much. So, if you’re the person making all the Lightning Lane reservations, mobile orders, and more, it might be a little cumbersome for you!

Another favorite of ours is the INIU Portable Charger! Note: this model is NOT the one that was recalled for being unsafe. This has multiple charging ports, meaning multiple items can be plugged in at once, which is a huge win.

This one charges much faster, and charges your device quicker as well, which we love. It’s thin, easy to carry around, and it’s very affordable. Our only complaint is that it didn’t come with a charging cord to recharge the portable charger itself, but otherwise, we’re big fans.

Finally, we’ve got the FuelRod MAX10. This is a bit more on the expensive side, but when we say this is POWERFUL, we mean it with our whole hearts.

One of the things we love most about this charger is that you can choose to use it with the MagSafe, meaning it’ll connect magnetically to your phone, OR you can use the cord that’s included, and we really appreciate the versatility.

While the charger itself holds a lot of power, what we also love is that you have the peace of mind to be able to change it out in Disney World free of charge if it happens to run out during the day, and you need a recharge before getting back to your accommodation for the night. Knowing that already makes this more worth the cost, in our eyes, which is good, because it’s definitely not cheap!
