Why Every Marvel Fan Is Suddenly Creating a Tubi Account

Now partner that with the word “Disney,” and practically everyone on our team is excited for whatever is to come. If you’re a big fan of films but aren’t able to pay for streaming subscriptions or head to the theater frequently, you may turn to a free streaming service like Tubi to watch. If you’re a frequent user of Tubi, we’ve got amazing news — one of the NEW Spider-Man films is coming to the platform soon!

It was just secretly revealed on Tubi’s website that Spider-Man: Homecoming, the first of the new Spider-Man films with Tom Holland, will be coming to Tubi on November 1st!

This film was released back in 2017 and was a MASSIVE hit. While it had a $175 million budget, it made $334 million in the Domestic box office and nearly $546 million in the international box office, meaning that’s $880 million worldwide.

Again, this was the first film where audiences got to see Tom Holland as the new Spider-Man, following in the footsteps of Tobey Maguire from the Sam Raimi trilogy of films (2002-2007) and Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man films 2012-2014). This series of films has three films currently, with a fourth one being filmed and set for release in July 2026.

At this time, Spider-Man: Homecoming is the only Spider-Man film of the trilogy coming to Tubi in November, but we’ll keep a close eye out, because we’re hoping it means the others will follow! This is a Sony Pictures film made with Marvel Studios, which is likely why it’s allowed to go on Tubi.

While there aren’t many Disney films you can find on Tubi right now, you can find alternate versions of classic stories that are now in the public domain, such as Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and even Cinderella.
