Can You Take A Minnie Van to Orlando Airport? It’s Complicated

When you think of Disney World transportation, you likely think of the Monorail, Skyliner, ferry boats, and Disney buses first.

But you don’t want to forget about the Minnie Vans! These are technically Lyft vehicles with a touch of Minnie Mouse flair, owned and operated by Disney World Cast Members. You can book a ride through the Lyft app. But can you use one to get back to the Orlando Airport after your vacation? Turns out, the answer is a little complicated!

Previously, Minnie Vans were available for departures and arrivals to and from Orlando International Airport. You could make arrangements up to six months in advance. Minnie Vans were available for flight arrivals from 7 AM to 10 PM and for flight departures from 9 AM to midnight. 

These days, though, Minnie Van trips to and from Orlando Airport are only for select guests at certain hotels. Minnie Vans are available for Club Level Guests through the concierge service at your Resort.

This means that if you’re staying at a Moderate or Value Resort, or not staying at a Disney World hotel at all, booking a Minnie Van to get to and from the airport won’t be an option.

The good news is that you can book a regular Uber and Lyft to and from the airport, it just won’t be Disney-themed! You can also use the Mears Connect shuttle service. Looking for more transportation news around the resort? Check out our posts below!
