Welcome to All Ears!

Here we talk about Disney tips, Universal must-dos, and everything in between! If you didn’t know, we also have a YouTube channel with a cast that makes me giggle every day. I’m lucky enough to be on that cast, and I decided it’s time to spill the beans on each of the cast members!
When it comes to the AllEars YouTube team, we have a bit of an eclectic team! We all have different tastes, preferences, and styles that let us offer tons of insight when it comes to theme parks. It’s kinda like working with your family, and what am I if not the mom who overshares?Â

That’s why I decided to share some seriously fun things that you probably don’t know about our team! Starting off with the dad of the group (nope, not Sage) we have Quincy! One thing that I think is so cool is that Quincy’s dad worked the opening of the Back to the Future ride at Universal (and a bunch of other theme park openings) as a news cameraman.Â

So this is more so about Quincy’s dad, but I think it’s so cool that she now does something super similar with her career, too. It’s like a full circle moment. (Plus, I’ve met her dad, and I think they’re literally two peas in a pod, so this makes sense to me that they work in similar ways.)

Next up is Fry Bucket! (No, I won’t reveal her real name. It’s just Fry Bucket.) One thing I would bet you don’t know is that despite her “theater kid” denials, she was in charge of my sorority’s huge, major Broadway-style, 10-minute-long performance in a huge singing competition!

She had to arrange music, come up with choreography, paint the backdrop, build the props, design costumes, and handle 200 people at practice multiple times a week! So the next time you hear her say she can’t perform, bring this up ASAP. Next up, it’s no secret that Sage is a born performer, but did you know he grew up at Disney?

That’s also not really unknown (if you watch our videos) but one thing I’d bet you don’t know is that once when he was a kid in the old Jungle Book show in Animal Kingdom (where Finding Nemo: Big, Blue and Beyond is now) a puppeteer strapped Sage to his chest, and he got to help puppeteer one of the elephants during a show. How cool is that? He has basically worked at Disney his entire life.

When it comes to JP, you might not know that she’s pretty clumsy. (Also, this is where I confirm that I asked what each Cast Member wanted me to share. Her words, not mine!) She’s been a bit on the clumsy side her entire life and actually broke her elbow TWICE!

Luckily, though, Minnie signed her cast (the second time), and it made it all okay! Leave it to Minnie Mouse to make everything better. Next on our cast is Angie. I would bet you didn’t know that Angie actually had a Disney fan account from 2012-2014!Â

This was just so cute and sweet to me, considering what we all do now for our jobs! Angie really manifested this for herself, and I’m just obsessed with her. She even shared a little screenshot of her account to prove how deep her Disney love goes.

You could honestly say Angie was ahead of the curve when it comes to Disney content. The next cast member I’m exposing? Myranda! Did you know that Myranda was actually slimed at Universal when Nickelodeon was still there?Â

This was every ’90s kid’s dream, and I am eternally jealous! Getting slimed is a serious rite of passage that not everyone will experience. Especially considering this show closed in 2005. When it comes to Breedlove, he easily has the most interesting stories of us all!

Breedlove is someone I could listen to share about life all day long because he just has so many amazing experiences and insights, but one thing I’m obsessed with that I would bet you didn’t know is that he kinda is connected to Miss Piggy. Before he was the makeup supervisor for Wicked on Broadway, he worked doing makeup in Fifth Avenue department stores in New York City. The first store where he was hired was Bergdorf Goodman. He was 18 then, and had been obsessed with The Muppets Take Manhattan growing up, but hadn’t watched it in years. After a couple of months of living there, he decided to rent it on a VHS and to his amazement, he was selling cosmetics in the same store Miss Piggy sells cosmetics with Joan Rivers in The Muppets Take Manhattan!

This just blew my mind, and I thought was such a cool connection to what we do now (and our shared infatuation with Miss Piggy!) Finally, I’m up. It’s only fair that I tell a bit about myself, too.

One thing that I feel like I don’t really talk about is that I have a Master’s Degree! That might seem a bit boring compared to the others, but I feel like I’m an open book. I got my degree from Tennessee Tech (Go Golden Eagles!) in Strategic Media, and I’m super proud of that fact.

I also love that I get to use my degree in my job. So there you have it! A bit of an inside scoop on each AllEars cast member, given from their faux group mom. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney tips and tricks.
