The Muppets are Causing Chaos on the Internet Again as Muppet*Vision 3DGets Close to a Permanent Closure at Disney World

We hate to remind you, but Muppet*Vision 3D is closing June 7th. Yes, this is the saddest news we’ve seen in our beloved Disney Parks this year. While we’re trying to be optimistic about the future of Hollywood Studios, we’re allowing ourselves a mourning period to say goodbye to the Muppets.

We’re not the only ones who are shedding a tear or two as we walk through Muppets Courtyard, and the internet has had some pretty great takes on the Muppets being kicked out of Disney World.

While scrolling through our feed, we came across a video that perfectly captures our feelings. Actor, Andrew Barth Feldman, created a tribute video to Muppet*Vision, and we think the world needs to see it.

A salute to all attractions but mostly Muppet*Vision 3D

You can check out the full video here and enjoy all the jokes and references of Muppet*Vision. We’re going to keep this on repeat and try to pretend that the end isn’t soon.

Andrew Barth Feldman is best known for his role as the lead in Evan Hansen, before handing the role over to Jordan Fisher, who we know and love as our Happily Ever After star.

If you’re thinking he might look familiar but you know you didn’t see him on Broadway, your TikTok feed might have been filled with his face during 2020. Feldman starred as Alfredo Linguini in the internet-developed production, Ratatouille the Musical. While it started as silly TikTok videos, it went on stage as a benefit concert in December that year.

He’s even had more Disney roles, like in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, and he voiced Dopey in the live-action version of Snow White.

Muppet*Vision is moving right along to welcome Monstropolis, the Monsters, Inc. land.

A new land themed to Pixar Animation Studios’ “Monsters, Inc.” is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Taking place after the events of the film, Monstropolis need humans’ laughter to power the city. Guests can even ride on a door like Mike and Sully in the iconic scene from the film with Disney’s first-ever suspended coaster.

This will include a brand-new hanging door roller coaster, just like the movie, which we’re pretty excited about.

While we don’t have any further dates or information, we do know that the Muppets are taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and is bringing an Electric Mayhem twist. The Muppets might not be entirely leaving Hollywood Studios, but without dates, we don’t know how long their hiatus will be.
