The Best Way to Spend $20 in the Japan Pavilion at EPCOT

There is so much to do and see in EPCOT, but this might be something you haven’t done before, but should!

Let’s go to Disney World!

Normally, guests will head to an EPCOT restaurant for something to eat or maybe even a festival food booth. Would you believe me if I told you some of the best snacks are found in the stores in the World Showcase?

Over in Japan, you can find Mitsukoshi, which is a large department store. It is found underneath the Shiki-Sai and Teppan Edo restaurants.  It sells tons of items, ranging from toys, kimonos, and clocks.  It also offers a pearl-picking experience called Akoya Pearls.

One of our favorite things to do in this store is to check out the unique snack options. You can find some tasty treats like Pocky sticks, jello, and mochi. Our AllEars Youtube team loves to grab different snacks to share — something sweet, something savory. This way everyone can try a little of something different.

Once you pick out your snack items, head right out those doors and take a right into the Kawaii exhibit. It’s a great place to sit, enjoy the air conditioning, and eat your snacks. Plus, you get to enjoy the incredible exhibits here and learn more! We can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon.
