NEW Study Reveals Food Prices at Disney World Have Increased 31% Over the Last 6 Years

It’s no surprise that Disney World prices have been increasing over the years to keep up with demand.

The cost of food at Disney World is no exception to these increases. We wanted to take a look at how things have changed over the last 6 years since 2019. Some of these prices have us wanting to travel back in time.

Quick Service

For quick-service restaurants, we will use Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn as an example. This restaurant is located in Frontierland in Magic Kingdom serves up TexMex-style dishes. The Southwest Salad in 2019 was $10.99 and is now $12.99 increasing by 18%.

The second entree we will look at is the Chicken Rice Bowl. The Chicken Rice Bowl in 2019 was $11.99 and is now $12.99. Over the last 6 years, it saw an 8% increase.

Table Service

A popular table service restaurant at Magic Kingdom is Be Our Guest. This restaurant is a prix fixe dinner menu with 3 courses both in 2019 and 2025. In 2019, an adult dinner was $55. In 2025, an adult dinner is $72 which is a 31% increase over 6 years. Can someone please take us back to 2019?

The kid’s pricing in 2019 was just $35 and in 2025, you will pay $43 per child. It is not as dramatic as the 31% increase, but it is a 23% increase.

Snacks

Snacks did not escape price increases either. Mickey Pretzels saw a 21% increase since 2019. Today, you can expect to pay $8.50 with tax included at snack carts across Disney World.

Disney World churros are not as beloved as Disneyland churros, but they saw a 20% increase over the last 6 years. In 2019, you would pay $6.25 and now, you can find them for $7.50.

  1. Prices up, quality down. Most food and snacks even in table service taste as tho they were precooked and heated up under a heat lamp or microwaved. Increase in price would be tolerable if there was some sort of level of quality. Do better Disney.
