Disneyland is turning 70 years old!
The 70th anniversary celebrations are getting closer and Disney is busy preparing. New shows are coming, rides are being refreshed, and more just in time for the big day. Now Disney has shared even more exciting news about the milestone!
Disneyland is hitting a major milestone with its 70th anniversary coming up soon! The celebrations begin on May 16th, 2025, and we already know so many things that are coming our way. One major announcement Disney just released is that there will be a brand new song for the festivities performed by none other than The Jonas Brothers!
The song will be called “Celebrate Happy” and will be heard “throughout the celebrations” during different events and experiences. The song will be available for streaming on May 13th across several different platforms and we can’t wait to hear how the Jonas Brothers bring the upbeat song to life.
The Jonas Brothers were signed by Disney’s record label, Hollywood Records, back in 2007 before joining the Camp Rock cast in 2008 and the rest is Disney history! The boys went on to have a show called Jonas and guest starred on shows like Hannah Montana and more. The brothers coming back to sing the celebratory song for the park’s anniversary really makes it feel like a full-circle moment!
Disney announced the collaboration in a video online where they asked the brothers to share what it means for them to be recording the song. You can watch the video here!

This isn’t the only major announcement for the 70th anniversary we’ve seen! The brand new show, Walt Disney- A Magical Life, is now opening on July 17th, 2025, the park’s official anniversary.
Disney also announced that “it’s a small world” will be changing for the festivities! Disney is adding an additional verse to the famous song written by the Sherman Brothers. The new verse, also written by the brothers, was the focal point of a short film titled The Last Verse which was released to honor the duo.
The new verse will begin playing in July 2025! There are so many things coming to the park beginning for this milestone and we can’t wait for them all. Fingers crossed Frankie Jonas makes an appearance at some point, too.
