Disneyland is gearing up to celebrate a HUGE event. Yes, that’s right, Disneyland is turning 70 this year and is having a massive celebration that will last through the summer of 2026.

Now, Disney has already given us some sneak peeks at what we can expect with the celebration, including a new Walt Disney animatronic (for the first time ever), as well as the return of the Paint the Night parade, and changes coming to “it’s a small world.” Well, Disney just dropped even MORE big details about the big celebration.
New look at decor
First, Disney shared some of the new decor we’ll be seeing for the 70th anniversary celebration. We’ve already seen a sneak peek at Sleeping Beauty Castle…

But now we’ve got some concept art of Main Street Railroad Station, too, all decorated in its 70th anniversary glory.

Main Street, U.S.A. will also be all dolled up for the big birthday bash.

The theme of the celebration is to “Celebrate Happy.”
New Outfits
Disney previously gave us a sneak peek at Mickey and Minnie’s special 70th Anniversary Celebration outfits.

Now, though, we have photos of Mickey and ALL his friends in their new colorful and celebratory outfits.

They’re all looking very sharp in all those colorful shades.
Paint The Night Parade
Disney also dropped a new detail about the Paint The Night parade. Anna and Elsa will be rejoining the parade on a Frozen float.

This will be the first time the sisters will have been in the parade since its initial run.
Duffy and ShellieMay in Celebrate Happy Cavalcade
A new cavalcade will also be coming to Disneyland, and Duffy and ShellieMay will be two characters joining in on all the fun!

You’ll see other characters in their 70th attire during the cavalcade, too.
World of Color Happiness!
We also have details about the 70th anniversary version of World of Color in Disney California Adventure. The show is World of Color Happiness! and will feature an all-new rendition of “Rainbow Connection” by Boyz II Men, as well as an all-new original song “Makes Me Wanna Move” by FITZ (from Fitz and the Tantrums.

Before the show, the Muppets will be delivering a special message “through vivid projections and expressive fountains ahead of the show.”
Ride Changes
Some rides will be changing ahead of the 70th, too. Dante and Miguel from Coco will be joining “it’s a small world.”

Toy Story Mania will also be getting a 70th anniversary update, and the concept art shows off targets with a new look.

This celebration is going to be BIG, so if you want to check it all out, it starts on May 16th and runs through summer 2026.
Check back with AllEars again soon for more.
