If you’re heading to Disneyland this month, there are some things you need to know about!

Heading into Disney California Adventure? Don’t forget to check out the Food & Wine Festival that just began (not to be confused with EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival that starts in Disney World later this year), but if attractions are more what you’ve got your mind set on, there are some you won’t be able to experience. Some of these rides are closed the entire month of March while others are just closed for parts of it, so let’s get into it!
Disneyland
Over in Disneyland, the Disneyland Monorail and Disneyland Railroad will remain closed during the beginning of the month, but we’ve got great news. Both of them will reopen on March 7th!

These have been under refurbishment since January, and we can’t wait for them to be available again.

As for “it’s a small world,” we’re sorry to tell you that this attraction will remain closed for the entire month of March. It’s been closed for refurbishment since January 21st, and at this time we don’t have an exact reopening date.

Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln will also remain closed all month as Disney adds an additional show to the theater — Walt Disney — A Magical Life. This new show will be opening May 16th, and we can’t wait!

Indiana Jones Adventure on the other hand will be closing for refurbishment on March 17th.

At this time, Disney has set the ride’s reopening date for April 25th.

Disney California Adventure
Grizzy River Run will finally complete its winter refurbishment on March 14th! This means that the ride will be closed at the beginning of the month through the 13th, and then you’ll get the chance to ride again. Just in time for the warmer weather!

Big news for thrill seekers though! Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! will close on March 10th for a short refurbishment. Thankfully, the ride is currently only set to be closed through March 20th.

So if any of these attractions are on your must-ride list and you haven’t yet planned your trip, keep them in mind before you book those tickets!

Personally I think Tiana’s Bayou Adventure needs to close because last time I went on it. It felt very lacking and underwhelming. Since the Tiana TV show is officially cancelled. I would like to see Tiana’s Bayou Adventure rethemed to the actual princess and the frog ride 2009 revision based on the Disney film with Tiana in her blue dress and she and Naveen turned into frogs. Also feature more familiar animatronics characters including spoonbill birds lady butterflies, Lawrence, Marcel the cat, Stella the dog, Reggie Darnell two fingers hillbilly men, buford, 2 fenner bros, Tiana’s Mom, showboat, and the best Disney villain Dr facilier on the ride, drop the special spice song add 2 songs when we’re human and friends on the other side at the dropoff. Then I will ride it again. Otherwise I’ll skip Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Disneyland and world every visit because I won’t ride it anymore unless it gets updated with additional characters like Dr facilier, spoonbill birds lady butterflies a showboat otherwise I’ll rewatch fan fiction YouTube videos of Dr facilier dropoff ride concept.
