Disney Adults Are Freaking Out Over This Celebrity's New 'Frozen' Parody

On February 23rd, acclaimed actress — and official Disney Legend — Kristen Bell brought her well-regarded skills to an award show stage when she hosted the 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards. Of course, the voice actress behind the Frozen franchise’s Princess Anna added a Disney twist to the show.

During the show — which was streamed live on Netflix — Bell sang a parody version of her animated counterpart’s signature song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”

The parody song, which began with “Do you want to be an actor? Let’s get your foot inside the door…” saw Bell humorously reference early background acting appearances and background roles timed to video clips of well-known Hollywood figures(and many of the night’s nominees) including Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short, Timothée Chalamet, Colin Farrell, Harrison Ford, Kieren Culkin, Demi Moore, and Jamie Lee Curtis to name a few.

The clip ended with one of Bell’s own earliest onscreen appearances. The song was just the first of several references to Bell’s own career that peppered the night, including a brief and comical reprisal of her role as the titular narrator from the classic 2000s teen soap Gossip Girl. The bit (which also included the show’s star Leighton Meester) went viral, including being shared by the show’s creator Josh Schwartz on his Instagram story.

Bell, who achieved her big break two decades ago as the star of the cult classic modern-noir detective series Veronica Mars, has had a long and varied career including the aforementioned Frozen and Gossip Girl roles, as well as costarring as the titular character in the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and headlining multi-season television series The Good Place and House of Lies.

Last year, Bell co-starred in the hit Netflix series Nobody Wants This (along with Meester’s real-life husband Adam Brody) which earned her accolades, including a second Golden Globe nomination as well as a SAG Award nomination.
