You Won’t BELIEVE Who Just Showed Up in EPCOT

EPCOT is hosting one of our favorite shows…but not for much longer!

Disney on Broadway Concert Series

During the Festival of the Arts, the Disney on Broadway concerts bring in Broadway performers from Disney shows to sing for all to hear in EPCOT. From Frozen to Newsies to The Lion King, these talented people have done it all and it’s a joy to watch! That’s why we had to head back and catch another show before the festival ends on February 24th, however, something unexpected happened that we have to tell you about!

We were so excited to see Rodney Ingram (Aladdin) and Kara Lindsay (Newsies) at the show on February 18th. As we were watching, they announced a surprise for Kara and the audience — the Newsies boys!

NO WAY

That’s right — four of them unexpectedly popped up in the audience and eventually started to sing the iconic “King of New York” song. Kara was worried about not knowing the words, but she crushed this performance! Take a look.

After the shock wore off, Rodney Ingram stepped out of their duet “Something to Believe In” to let Adam Kaplan, one of the Newsies boys, sing it with her. Kaplan played Jack Kelly on Broadway!

It was an eventful night and so fun to see Kara Lindsay in shock!

King of New York

The Festival of the Arts is almost over and if you haven’t caught one of these concerts, we highly recommend doing so before the festival ends on February 24th. The next festival — EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival — is just around the corner beginning on March 5th

Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest happenings in Disney World.
