Is it just us or is navigating Disney Springs confusing?

Maybe we’re just trying to find our way to Gideon’s Bakehouse or Chicken Guy! or just want to shop at World of Disney. Maybe we’re just trying to walk around and avoid crowds. Whatever the case, we can help with some Disney Springs shortcuts that will make your visit to Disney World’s shopping and dining district a lot easier.
One of our favorite shortcuts is cutting across the bridge to the back side of Disney Springs that brings you out by Raglan Road. Otherwise, you might find yourself walking all the way down to the other bridge next to Starbucks on the West Side, which could take you out of your way. This is the best way to get to Gideon’s Bakehouse, too.

Also, if you have to use the bathroom, you might be tempted to go to the restrooms located near the elevators and by World of Disney/Amorette’s Patisserie. Those bathrooms almost always have lines. However, you’ll find less crowded bathrooms by eet by Maneet Chauhan and by the Vineyard Vines store.

Finally, there’s a walking path that can take you to and from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, depending on which side of Disney Springs you’re headed. So if you’re staying at that resort, be sure to look out for those paths.

So if you’re headed to Disney Springs, you’ll want to keep these shortcuts in mind, in case you need to get anywhere quickly or you just want to avoid crowds.

You mention the path from the Saratoga Springs Resort to Disney Springs. Actually there are two. If you walk over to the Congress Park section and take the sidewalk by the lake, you can go to the end of Disney Springs by the Rainforest Cafe. You can also walk to the Lake Buena Vista golf course. Take the path behind the pro shop towards the practice green. Once you get across the bridge near that green, you can take a path left or right. Go left and you wind up at Disney Springs by Cirque Dr Soleil. Go right and there is a nice path that takes you to the Old Key West Resort and you can walk all around the resort and return via the same path. The latter , I should add, is not illuminated at night.
