For those of us who travel to Disney World or other theme parks, we can probably attest that there is little rest to be found on these trips. We are usually walking long periods of time while waking up early and going to bed late. But the newest trend in travel is having us rethink our next vacation destination!

Sleep tourism is a new and growing trend in the travel industry. This is where you travel for the primary reason to get a better night’s sleep. According to CNET.com, “Poor sleep and lack of rest and recovery can be linked to poor health outcomes and lower rates of happiness.”. With this, people are seeking vacation spots to not only rest but to sleep better.
