One Disney Park Is About To Go Even MORE Hollywood

A lot is happening in Disney Parks all over the world. Disney World is getting a huge expansion in Magic Kingdom, plus new lands in Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Disneyland is getting a new Avatar land plus a new Coco ride.

Across the pond, at Disneyland Paris, some big changes are happening, too. Walt Disney Studios is being transformed into Adventure World and even getting a new Frozen land AND Lion King land. Disney recently shared a peek at one of the upgraded areas coming Adventure World.

Disney has revealed that Disney Adventure World will begin its storytelling right from the entrance gates. As soon as you pass through the turnstile, the area you’ll enter is an open-air movie studio that will have visitors becoming special guests at a movie premiere. This area, which will be called World Premiere, will then lead to “fully imersive worlds, plunging them into the heart of their favourite Disney, Marvel and Pixar stories.”

This area will take over the former Disney Studio 1 soundstage, which will be completely reimagined while being inspired by historic Hollywood theaters. You’ll see palm trees, familiar architecture, and famous movie theaters, as well as references to L.A., Disney, and more. The area will even have a skyline enhanced by dynamic projection effects. One building takes inspiration from The Walt Disney Studios Burbank Animation Building.

World Premiere will offer unique dining opportunities, like the quick-service The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant. The Searchlight kiosk will offer snacks and drinks. A new store will also be added, Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, which will be inspired by 1920s department stores. The shop will feature a golden statue of Mickey designed by Disney animator Eric Goldberg.

You’ll be able to see World Premiere in spring of 2025, when it will be open to guests. The whole of Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen is expected to open in 2026.
