2025 is right around the corner, and I don’t know about you guys, but I’m already prepping for my trips.

New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in Disney World are calling my name, and I’m planning to be in the parks as often as possible (because I can’t stay away). However, with trips planned, you have to be prepared for them. This past year, I’ve found that these five items are essential to have in the parks with me, so don’t forget them on your 2025 trips!
An Anti-Chafe Stick
Listen, TMI (a.k.a. “too much information”) doesn’t exist with me, and anyone who knows me will tell you that. So I have zero shame in telling you that an Anti-Chafe Stick has saved me (my thighs, actually, if we’re being real) multiple times in the parks.

Something interesting I found, though — for me, I didn’t need it as much in the heat of summer because I was already sweating, so my skin didn’t chafe as much. However, when it was slightly cooler, and I wasn’t sweating buckets, THAT’s especially when this came in handy. So have it with you on ALL trips, not just the hot ones — you’ll never know when it’ll come in handy for you or someone else in your travel party!
Seriously add it to your cart ASAP
Rain Gear
Here’s the thing: I forget rain gear most of the time in Disney World, and every time, I regret it. Usually, I don’t mind walking through the pouring rain, but then I realize I have to be wet all day or go back to my accommodation and get a change of clothes, and that takes time out of the park day. Instead, I followed Emma’s recommendation and got a FROGG TOGG Poncho, and she was so right. I loved it.

I wore this thing when it was pouring outside, and I had to walk out of Animal Kingdom. Guess what? Other than the bottom of my legs, my face, my hands, and the top of my hairline, the entirety of me stayed dry! It was totally worth the purchase, and now I try desperately not to forget it.
Sunglasses
I’ll be the first to admit that it took me a while to actually get sunglasses for the park because my regular glasses don’t transition to become sunglasses. But I got tired of the sun glaring in my face and finally grabbed some SOJOS Oversized Round Sunglasses.

What I really love about these is that they’re simple, not very expensive (but not too cheap either), and so I know that if they break or I lose them, which there’s a very high probability of, I haven’t lost something that cost me an arm and a leg.
A Cooling Towel
I’ll be the first to tell you that I don’t like those little cooling fans. I feel like they do nothing for me, so I choose to use a cooling towel instead during hot trips. There are a lot of great brands out there, but I’ve used a FROGG TOGG Cooling Towel for, I kid you not, at least seven years.

This is the one I’ve stuck with for years. It works super well, stays cool all day, and was my saving grace when I went on a recent trip to Disney World. I specifically remember keeping it near my head in the outdoor line for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and it was a lifesaver.
The Right Bag
Again, the right bag is different for everyone, but for me, I love a KAVU Sling Bag!

I used to carry around a large regular backpack in the parks so I could carry my water bottle, but that was quickly a no-go when I started going more often. My Kavu bag is large enough to fit my water bottle (or clip it to the strap on the outside) and all my essentials without being too large. I even had a friend embroider mine with my name to make it a little more special!
As I said, I’ll be in Disney World a ton in 2025, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all of the team’s recommendations for this upcoming year!
